A Noob’s Review is the title of my series of long form reviews. They follow a structure of examining the things that work within a game and the parts that may need some improvement.
These reviews are designed to be easily scannable with a summary at the end highlighting the key points. The goal is to give a full picture of whether the game may or may not be for you based on what you value. They are written in a casual tone and are of course highly subjective to my own values, as is the case with any review.
It is important to me to be honest about the negative aspects that I experience, but any critique is written with the best intentions. I respect anyone who makes a game and am passionate in my stance that it is an art form. That said, I believe that constructive criticism is important for driving a medium forward. Within my reviews I try to balance that alongside the understanding that not every game is for every person.
If you are looking for a particular game or genre then feel free to use the search bar.
